Scooby was diagnosed with Bone Cancer in his left rear leg on August 25, 2015 at the age of 14, when he went to see his vet after limping on his leg for a few days and an X-ray showed deterioration in the bone. He went for a chest X-ray and surgery consult on August 28th. He was taken for surgery the same day to have his leg amputated after receiving a clear chest X-ray. The histology report showed that the type of cancer he has is called hemangiosarcoma. This is his journey, and ours, through it all.
